Van Oossanen is listed as naval architect, Espen Oeino International as exterior designer and Cassetta Yacht Designers as interior designer. The official data gives a 9.10-metre beam, 2.60-metre draught, 16-knot maximum speed, 12-knot cruising speed and a 5,000-nautical-mile range at 9 knots in eco mode.
The interesting point is not length alone. RMK is working around the 500GT threshold and showing how much space may be recovered through propulsion layout and deck planning. The aft Piazza is described as a 20-metre, 180-square-metre open living deck. The bow gains a Piazzetta, while the upper levels include a private viewpoint called the Love Nest. The presentation is rich in lifestyle language, but a buyer should read it through general arrangement.
Sub-500GT Design Needs Cold Questions
At 55 metres, volume, class, crew and technical access quickly become more important than one visual feature. Arcane Era is listed for 12 guests in six cabins and 11 crew in six cabins. That sounds attractive, but due diligence should test whether the space promise survives service access, stores, spare parts, acoustics and the everyday working pattern of crew.
The propulsion choice deserves the same discipline. IPS may free aft volume, but the buyer still needs service access, parts support, emergency procedures and captain acceptance.
