CRN brings Amor à Vida to Monaco as 67 metres of hybrid custom yacht due diligence

CRN has announced the European debut of M/Y Amor à Vida at Monaco Yacht Show 2026. The yacht is due to be shown in Port Hercule from 23 to 26 September at Quai Chicane, stand C19. For anyone watching the full-custom superyacht market, this is more than another show appearance: it is a chance to see how a 67-metre CRN project reads after entering real use.

Amor à Vida is 67.55 metres long, with an 11.50-metre beam and 1447 GT. CRN lists six decks, five VIP guest cabins and an owner deck on the upper deck, including a forward owner apartment with a 180-degree panoramic view. Nuvolari Lenard handled the design, while Moran Yacht & Ship represented the owner during design and construction.

Hybrid Without The Fog

The key technical point is the hybrid propulsion package. According to CRN, the system improves the efficiency of both main engines and generators, supports smoother and quieter cruising, and works with a heat-recovery system intended to reduce energy consumption for pools and hot-water systems. Maximum speed is listed at 16 knots, with 15 knots as cruising speed.

Those claims should become inspection questions. How many hours has the yacht actually run in hybrid modes? What are the temperatures and noise levels in the cabins? How is redundancy arranged? Who carries warranty responsibility for integration? We applied a similar filter to CRN’s Cerulean delivery, where handover was only the beginning of technical verification.

What Should Be Checked In Monaco?

Monaco Yacht Show can reveal details no rendering can: crew circulation, separation of guest and operational areas, beach-club access, the ergonomics of the owner deck and the real feeling of privacy. At this size, every square metre has to work under two regimes: private owner use and selected-period charter.

A buyer-side adviser such as W Yachts should treat Amor à Vida as a full-custom due-diligence case study. The finish matters, but so do sea-trial documents, the defect list after a season, warranty workflow and the operating cost of the hybrid package.

The European debut in Monaco will therefore be less about style alone and more about whether CRN’s bespoke promise translates into a yacht that is predictable to live with, travel on and maintain.
