Romeo Marine has returned to Monaco Yacht Show with Romeo 55 as the finished reference point for its superyacht ambitions. The show agenda framed the press meeting around the yacht’s international debut and a preview of Romeo 60, while the exhibitor profile describes the Dubai Maritime City builder as an integrated custom superyacht yard.
That distinction matters. In 2025, the young brand could tell a story about moving from interiors and refit work into superyacht construction. In 2026, buyers can judge a finished product: detailing, systems integration and whether the yard infrastructure looks strong enough to support the next project.
What Dubai Maritime City Adds
According to the exhibitor profile, Romeo Marine has a 12,000-square-metre facility, a 120-metre construction hall and in-house activity covering hull construction, engineering, interior outfitting, refit and finishing. The yard says it works in steel and aluminium and can manage multiple projects, including yachts above 100 metres.
For a buyer, those claims are not yet proof. They are an audit checklist. Who owns naval architecture? Which class society is involved? How is warranty support structured? Where will parts and service be available? How are subcontractors controlled? In a new yard, the biggest risk is often repeatability rather than imagination.
Romeo 60 Raises The Stakes
The Romeo 60 preview is interesting because it shows the brand does not want to stop at one yacht. It also raises the commercial test. A second project usually reveals whether a yard has a durable process or simply a team capable of delivering a single success.

Romeo 55 reverses that order: buyers should inspect the yacht first, then listen to the ambition. For an international client, the Monaco appearance deserves attention, but it should be compared coldly with established yards and supported by a broker who can separate presentation from contract risk.
