Galeon 800 FLY makes its Cannes debut as a new Polish flagship

Galeon is using the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival for the European debut of the 800 FLY. The yard presents the model as the new flagship of its flybridge range. Official model data lists a 25.71-metre length, 5.80-metre beam, four ensuite guest cabins and a separate crew area. PressMare, reporting from the Cannes materials, also lists a 5.89-metre maximum beam and an approximate 31-knot top speed with twin engines of at least 1,920 hp each.

The launch matters because Galeon is moving deeper into a size bracket where buyers compare more than length overall. Crew operation, fuel reserve, stabilisation, noise control and berth logistics become part of the purchase decision.

Numbers To Check On Board

Galeon’s official model page lists 5,470 litres of fuel, a capacity of up to 18 people on board and a 4+1 cabin arrangement. Those figures need to be read together. A yacht of this size can be owner-driven only in limited conditions; in normal Mediterranean use, crew accommodation and technical access will be central to owner comfort.

The flybridge and exterior spaces will naturally draw attention at the show, but a serious buyer should move below deck: engine-room access, service routes, air-conditioning, generators and hotel systems. The quoted 31-knot top speed also needs context. Full fuel-consumption curves at realistic cruise speeds will be more useful than one top-line performance figure, especially with tender, crew and full tanks on board.

Galeon 800 FLY gives the Polish builder a strong Cannes statement, but the harder test begins after the show. In this class, buyers are not only asking whether the yacht looks impressive. They are asking whether service, options and delivery timing are predictable.

For a buyer based in Poland, the debut is especially interesting because the brand is close to home, while the yacht itself will be judged by big-Mediterranean operating standards. Against used yachts around 24-26 metres, the comparison should include crew plan, berthing and service as much as purchase price.
