Groupe Beneteau has used the Cannes Yachting Festival to show the scale of its product offensive. The group announced 24 new models for the 2026-2027 season and said its 2025-2027 cycle includes 66 launches in total. According to the company, the renewal pace is increasing by about 50 percent, while models introduced in 2025 represented nearly 30 percent of retail sales in the first half of 2026.
That matters beyond the new-boat sales desk. Faster model renewal affects discounts, demonstrator rotation and used-boat pricing. If a yard refreshes the range more quickly, a buyer has to compare model year, production stage and equipment package more carefully, because the gap between a “new model” and an outgoing version can become unusually wide.
NEO Moves Beyond Lagoon
The second part of the announcement is NEO, Groupe Beneteau’s factory refit programme for pre-owned boats. After starting with Lagoon, the programme is being extended to selected Jeanneau and Beneteau models, with the available model count rising from two to eight. Beneteau links the move to the used market and to its target of cutting Scope 3 CO2 emissions by 30 percent by 2030 versus 2022.
For a buyer, this creates a new due-diligence question: should a used boat with factory refit command a premium over a conventional brokerage boat? The answer depends on work scope, warranty, documentation and whether the refit covers the systems that age fastest in real ownership: electronics, energy, plumbing and auxiliary equipment.
Prestige, Lagoon And The Supply Signal
Among the examples named by the group are Lagoon Eighty3, Sea Loft 480, Gran Turismo 40, 45 and 50, Swift Trawler 43 and 49, plus a Prestige programme covering C43, F6.7 and developments in the M line. In Cannes, the group is showing 56 boats, including 18 new models and 11 world premieres.
In practical terms, a buyer should arrive with a comparison table, not just a list of boats to see. With this many launches, it is important to know which models are ready to order, which have only a future production window and which could soon appear as demonstrators. The same discipline applies in our first-time Cannes buyer guide: the show rewards buyers who know what they are testing before stepping on the pontoon.
